Are they using our smart phones to spy on us?

I am NOT referring to the fact that they have access to all the text that we send, all the photos & videos that we take with our phones, and all conversations.

I am referring to the fact that they can remotely enable the smart phone's cameras and the audio circuitry so that they can spy on us while we are not using the phone.

If you have a Galaxy A51 phone from Samsung, depending on the firmware revision and the revision of the Android OS, you might be able to find out when they are spying on you.

If when you pressed the side key, in order to turn on the display, the display shows two small circles, near the bottom, one green & one red. Then the audio and the cameras were active. However, they immediately (in milliseconds) turn off, so that you may use the phone. They disconnect in less than a second, so those 2 indicators last less than a second in the display. This is what they look like:

To see them you MUST be looking at the display when you press the side key, because they disappear in less than a second.

So, who is spying?
Like I always say, it's a matter of possibilities and probabilities.
Here are some of the probable spies, in the order of the most probable to the least probable, and the reason why they are able to spy:

1. Google, because they control Android (the phone's Operating System).
2. T-Mobil, because they are my the network provider (carrier).
3. Samsung, because they know how their phones work.

If we don't like to be spied on, What can we do about it?

When I am not using the phone, I cover the cameras with a folded paper that is held by a flexible clip (see image bellow). And I place the phone in a room that I am not using. And once in a while I check it, to see if anyone called or sent a text message.

UPDATE:  April, 2024

I believe I was able to remove the spy-ware that was causing this.
I no longer see the icons that show activated camera & audio.
I accidentally learn how to remove this particular spy-ware.
If you have the same symptoms, and would like to know how to remove the spy-ware,
send an email to guru@manyportals.info
It is a simple procedure, but I do not want everyone to know it.
