BEWARE OF QUININE PRODUCTS THAT ARE EXPENSIVE AND DO NOT HAVE
AS MUCH QUININE AS FOUND IN INEXPENSIVE TONIC
WATER.
If we expose tonic water, in a dark room, to a black light, it will
glow.
Therefore, if we want to find out if cinchona bark capsules, or
quinine pills, have sufficient quinine in them, we need to dissolve
2 or 3 capsules or pills into a cup of warm water, then look at it
under the black light. It should glow in a similar manner as tonic
water does.
The following Quinine Capsules product has very little quinine, in
fact, it took 3 capsules in a cup of water to get a little glow.
I estimated that the price, per amount of quinine, is about 10
times more expensive than buying tonic water.
