NEW PRESIDENTIAL TREND?
Because the president is the "commander in chief of all the armed
forces", it is logical that he (or she) should have some experience
as a military officer. And should also have some governmental
executive experience, such as state governor or mayor
of a large city.
However, In the last 70 years, we have had 13 presidents. Nine of
them have served, as officers in the military. Only 4 of the 13 did
not serve in the military; Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, Donald
Trump, & Joe Biden. Those four served within the last 30 years.
Is this a new trend?
