WORLD PROBLEMS
In this new millennium, the most dangerous problem
that we are facing, is the continuous increase in human
population. And although most developed and highly educated
countries are controlling their population growth,
underdeveloped poor (and not well educated) countries continue
to have too many children.
There is some good news, the world's TFR
(Total Fertility Rate) has been reduced from 4.96 in the 50s
to about 2.5 in this last decade (2010-2020)

But look at the graph bellow. And notice that it took 11,900
years to reach a population of 1 billion. However, in the
last 100 years the population increased by about 7 billions.
And it is now at more than 8 billions, and growing every
minute.

So we still have population problems that can create wars,
famines, epidemics, etc.
