THE COST OF GLOBAL WARMING

It is difficult to calculate the yearly cost of Global Warming. However, FEMA and NOAA keep track of what they call "Billion Dollar Disasters". And that data shows that as the climate changes, due to Global Warming, the frequency and intensity of such Disaster Events is increasing.

And these are disasters that occurred in the USA. It does not show what is happening in other nations. However, it is a fact that other nations are also experiencing Billion Dollar Disasters.

Examples from Sept. 2023:
1. Greece had a catastrophic flooding.
2. Hong Kong had, in one hour, the amount of rain it usually gets in a year.
3. England is having catastrophic flooding this month.
4. Libya just had a catastrophic flooding (thousands dead, 10,000 missing).
5. Many parts of Spain are having catastrophic flooding.

Here is a list of some of the countries that are having serious floods this year (2023):
In Europe;
   Greece, England, Turkey, Slovenia, Georgia, Romania, Kosovo, Italy, Bosnia, Bulgaria, & others.

In Asia;
   China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, South Korea, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Japan, Tajikistan, & others.

In Africa;
   Libya, Algeria, South Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Somalia, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and others.

Therefore, I believe that the damage cost of weather and climate disasters, due to Global Warming, will be in the hundreds of Billions of dollars per year (world wide). And in some years, it might exceed a trillion dollars.
