By 1968, most war operational responsibilities, previously
assigned to MACV, were given to USARV and the 1st Logistical
Command, who were, from then on, responsible for managing and
controlling the war.
Both, the 1st Logistical Command and USARV were located in Long
Binh post in a hill next to the hill where the barracks for the
44th Signal Battalion, of the 1st Signal Brigade, where.
Here is a photo of the 1st Logistical Command and USARV seen from
the barracks of the 44th Signal Battalion.

In one of the walls near the entrance, there was this bronze plate

And also a memorial display of those soldiers who were awarded
the medal of honor

There was a patio where weapons captured, from the enemy, where
displayed.

And they also had a sample of a typical rural vietnamese hut.

If there was any suspicious enemy activity, at night, near
USARV, flares would light up the night,
and military action was executed if needed.
