CHRISTMAS IN VIETNAM
We were, away from our home land, half way around the
world, in a foreign war, on a foreign land.
But that was no excuse to not celebrate Christmas.
So, we did celebrate Christmas and New Years Eve.
Here are some photos of our Christmas celebrations, and New Years
celebration:

The 44th Signal Battalion gave us the following Christmas card.
Inside my card, some of "The Boys" signed it, and we agreed to
meet at the Lincoln Memorial, on Washington D.C.
on July of 1970. We did know, that on that day, thousands gathered
on the Lincoln Memorial (See images bellow).
Also, I did not know that on 1969 I was going to move from
Maryland to Florida, to attend Jr. College.
Therefore, I did not have the time or the money to travel to Wash.
D.C. for that meeting.

This is what the Lincoln Memorial looked like on July 4, 1970
